The PPWSL's Cubs v. Cougars fundraising game is on Thursday, 8/19 so save the date - we need YOU to make this event a success...

• Come Cheer - come out to watch and cheer your favorite Cubs and Cougars, and, in the process, support the League with a small "pass-the-hat" donation or even buy a T-shirt!
• Come Celebrate - the recently opened Lowlands Bar has offered to donate a DOLLAR to the PPWSL for every alcoholic drink purchased by a PPWSL participant, friend or family member after the Cubs v. Cougars game on 8/19. So please join us after the game to celebrate a wonderful summer!
• Come Help - yes, we could still use a little volunteer help "behind the scenes!" Administrative volunteers are interested PPWSL participants, as well as our friends or family members of all ages to help collect minimum donations and waivers from players, to “Pass-the-Hat” to collect donations from fans and to sell PPWSL T-Shirts.

This fundraising game is based on the classic “Rookies versus Old Timers” theme and will support the PPWSL. Interested active PPWSL participants will donate a minimum of $15 and play a few innings to benefit and support the PPWSL. The Cubs are PPWSL players and coaches 29 and younger and the Cougars are PPWSL players and coaches 40 and older (Cougars roster is now full and is closed to new registrants). Help us keep our League fees low by playing, volunteering, cheering and giving to celebrate and support the celebrate the beginning of the PPWSL’s fourth decade!

ALL SATURDAY PLAY IS CANCELED

A single-elimination tournament will be played on Sunday, Sept. 13th, beginning at 9am.

Field repair/preparation will begin at 7:30 am. Volunteers should bring buckets, shovels, pumps, rakes, brooms, etc. with them.
