The PPWSL is an instructional softball league open to anyone at least 18 years of age who identifies as a woman, trans, or non-binary, with games played on weekday nights in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Founded in 1981, the league strives to be inclusive and supportive of players of all abilities and skills united by the love of the game.

Tryouts are:
• 3/22 (Wednesday) from 5pm-7pm. [Rain date: 3/29]
• 3/25 (Saturday) from 9am-12pm. [Rain date: 4/1]
• 3/26 (Saturday) from 9am-12pm. [Rain date: 4/2]
You only need to come to one day of tryouts.

All levels welcome — even complete beginners! And to answer the most commonly asked question: Nope, tryouts are not competitive. They’re fun, social, and a great way to get to meet folks in the league. 💯

It’s OK if you’re rusty, haven’t played in a while, or haven’t played at all. The purpose of tryouts is to see where you’re at so you can be placed on a team with abilities evenly distributed. That’s all!
